Dr. Huang brings over 25 years of biopharmaceutical development experience, specializing in CMC and regulatory filings for investigational new drugs from Phase I through Phase III. His expertise spans biologic analytical development, characterization, formulation, quality control, and drug substance/product release. He has contributed multiple publications and patents to advance protein characterization and analytical biotechnology.
At Sound Biologics, Dr. Huang leads the BPS team, oversees CDMO activities, and is responsible for regulatory document preparation and FDA submissions. Before joining in 2017, he held scientific and leadership positions at Human Genome Sciences, ICOS/CMC Biologics, Amgen, and Bristol Myers Squibb. He earned his Ph.D. from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Yale University in biochemical engineering.
